Go Karting Champion completes second test with Lafferty Motorsports in Driver Development Program.

Lafferty Motorsports, owned by Chris Lafferty of Concord, North Carolina, is happy to announce that Bryan Hayberger, son of Mary and David Hayberger of Duncannon Pennsylvania, has completed his second test with the team. Lafferty Motorsports fields an entry in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and the ARCA/Remax Series. Lafferty also fields cars at the local level for their up and coming drivers.

Lafferty Motorsports, is giving Bryan an introduction into the world of stock car racing through their Driver Development program. Bryan had his first opportunity with Lafferty Motorsports in February of 2008, when he tested in the Craftsman Truck Series truck. In June of 2008, they tested him in a Street Stock car for the Street Stock division at Hickory Motor Speedway in Hickory, North Carolina.

After his test in the Street Stock, Lafferty Motorsports has given Bryan the opportunity to drive their car in a race at the Hickory Motor Speedway in the 2008 Season.  Bryan has never had the opportunity to race anything other than go-karts and this is truly a great opportunity for him.  He is looking forward to fulfilling this as another step up the ladder toward his dream. “I want to thank my parents for all they have done for my racing carreer and the Lafferty team for working with me.”

Bryan has just graduated from Susquenita High School and also Cumberland-Perry Area Vocational Technical School for diesel technology in June of 2008. Bryan has been racing go-carts for six years, obtaining five track championships along the way. Bryan has been trying to move to higher levels of racing for two years now; but because of funding, Bryan has never been able to make the jump.

If you would like to be a part of helping Bryan Hayberger in making his NASCAR dreams come true feel free to contact Lafferty Motorsports at 704-795-5375 or online at www.LaffertyMotorsports.com you can also contact Bryan Hayberger directly at (717) 834-9062.
